New York, NY – April 21, 2014 – First Nationwide Title Agency (FNTA), one of the nation’s leading full-service commercial real estate title insurance agencies, announced today that Dorian Lam has joined the firm as Vice President.
A manager in FNTA’s operations department, Mr. Lam will also focus on overall new business development as well as exploring potential new business areas among Asian and other minority communities.
With more than a decade of experience in the title industry, Mr. Lam gained his experience at a subsidiary of First American Title of New York where just prior to joining FNTA, his title was Senior Project and Operations Manager, a post he had held since 2008. During his tenure, he was a trouble shooter and problem solver, overseeing technical systems, both software and hardware, analyzing processes and interfacing with remote offices and continuously looking to improve workflow, to mentor new incoming staff, and to establish goals for operational efficiencies. Mr. Lam was selected for the First American Emerging Leader Program in 2008 and was a finalist for the First American 2009 Excellence Award.
“We feel confident that Dorian’s know-how and many years of systems expertise will significantly enhance our technical capabilities, enabling us to better serve clients,” said Steven Napolitano, President and CEO of FNTA. “We are delighted to welcome him aboard.”
Mr. Lam graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science, Information Systems and Management in 2000. He is a member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AAREA).
